(22) I'd never heard of Dr Lloyd-Jones until recently, but I feel quite blessed to have discovered his sermons. It's funny how when I get 'really thirsty' for the word God always steers me in the right direction! Though the broadcast is less than 1/2 hour, by the time MLJ has finished one feels like you've absorbed the entire Book! It's always a most pleasant surprise when I turn on the radio just in time. This leads me to believe that not only was MLJ a good preacher, he was probably equally a wonderful pastor. God bless you in this Pastor Appreciation Month!

Feeling led to find out more about this man, reading his biography and listening to his sermons on-line. I am convinced that he was truly gifted by God, given a great insight to spiritual matters with the ability to communicate these insights to the common man. After listening and taking to heart his sermons on "Grieve not the Holy Spirit" and "Praying Always" I can honestly say that I am experiencing wonderful changes in my attitude and my walk in this life. (1) 'About 8 months ago I first heard the preaching of Dr. Lloyd-Jones. I was amazed. [Several months ago] I had a stroke. I lost half the function in my right side and my speech for some time. My speech is better and my strength is returning. I have spent the time in prayer and study. I also have been listening to Dr. Lloyd-Jones preaching via oneplace.com. The work that you are doing in bringing his messages to the public has been a blessing for me. It has encouraged and inspired me like very few preachers have. For that I must say a heartfelt "Thank You!" May God bless each and every one of you involved in this ministry.'
