Pricing Policy
WHY DOES THE TRUST CHARGE FOR THESE RECORDINGS?
Like any Christian organisation the Trust incurs expenses in its day-to-day operation. From the earliest days of the Trust our board, which includes members of Dr Lloyd-Jones' family, decided that our pricing policy would be:
".... to offer our materials at prices as low as we can and which still enable us to meet our operating costs. Additionally, we want these recordings to be as affordable as we can make them in order to ensure their being available to the widest possible audience. We would therefore strive to keep our operating costs to a minimum in keeping with this policy."
We do not seek therefore to make a profit, but simply cover our operating costs. It has been such an encouragement over the years to see how God has honoured this policy, and provided for our needs in this way.
SALES HELP US TO FUND OUR ONGOING WORK
The work of the Trust is even more vital today than when it was first established in 1982. A great many opportunities for us to minister to a worldwide audience is only restricted by the limitation of our financial resources. In addition to the costs incurred in producing and broadcasting our radio programmes, we are also committed to ensuring that the integrity of the Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones' sermon archive is carefully preserved and made available for future generations of Christians.
Each year we distribute, without charge, a range of resources comprising audio, DVDs and books, to prison inmates, seminarians, pastors, missionaries and other friends who,due to financial hardship, would not otherwise be able to obtain them. The Trust also organises and underwrites an annual Men's Ministry Conference, which attracts men from all over the UK and Europe and we are seeking to expand this ministry as finances permit.
As a registered UK charity our accounts are open for public inspection and we make sure that every penny we receive is wisely spent. The Trust employs a staff of five, only two of which are full-time. The Trust is governed by a Board of men who freely give of their time and talents.
